

Swava grew up in Krakow, Poland, where she studied philology. She graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2006 and now lives and works in London.
Swava’s current work further develops her interest in using drawing, photography and screen printing. Series of processed ‘multiple
one – off's based on old family photos, accidental daily snapshots and restaged , anonymous photographs, as well as obscure records from Central European history, continue to form a set which is both very personal and detached. Exhibition in October 2009.
Interested in film, Swava has designed limited edition posters exhibited in China, Teheran and Warsaw poster biennales. She has worked on a number of commissions; a graphic adaptation of Freud’s Wolf Man case is to be published in 2010.
